Elder K03 said that his first drawing was “filled only with [his] desires, with [his] dreams.” Referring to this second drawing, he said: “But in actuality this is what God wanted for me. God wanted to bless me with this state of being and He led me here. Amen!”
“Since coming to America, I have thought about my dreams every day. Even so, I believe God had a good reason why he didn’t allow them to come to pass. If I had had the farm, I wouldn’t have met God. This is me now. Here is the sun, the moon, a star, a tree. And here is a mountain and animals, and a flowing river. I’m grateful to live in the nature God gave to us. I love God, and my life is one of gratitude and joy in Him.”
첫 번째 그림에 대해 어르신께서는 말씀하시길: “이건 제 욕망과 꿈으로만 가득 찬 그림이에요.” 이 두 번째 그림을 가리키시며: “하지만 이것은 하나님께서 원하신 모습이에요. 하나님께서 이 상태를 축복으로 주셨고 저를 이 자리까지 이끄셨죠. 아멘!”
“미국에 온 후에도 매일 꿈을 생각했어요. 그래도 하나님께서 그 꿈을 이루지 않으신 데는 이유가 있다고 믿어요. 만약 제가 그 농장을 가졌다면 하나님을 만나지 못했을 거예요. 지금의 저는 해와 달, 별과 나무가 있는 자연 속에서 살고 있어요. 그리고 산과 동물들, 흐르는 강도 있죠. 하나님께서 주신 자연 속에서 사는 것에 감사드려요. 저는 하나님을 사랑합니다. 제 삶은 그분 안에서 감사와 기쁨으로 가득합니다.”
