This research-based physical exhibition honors the stories of Lao and Korean elders who settled in the U.S. in the 1970s-1980s. It will feature videos, drawings, and cultural artifacts collected from interviews with 10 Lao and 10 Korean elders, conducted in Los Angeles, Sonoma, and Fresno between 2021 and 2022.

The exhibition features personal stories, cultural artifacts, and artwork that reflect the themes of migration, identity, and community. The exhibition materials are available in English, Lao, and Korean, for more inclusive accessibility.

An online version of this exhibition is currently under construction. Please check back soon to follow our progress.
