The Art Therapy Research Institute at Loyola Marymount University would like to invite you to join Dr. Joyce Yip Green for an evening of Artist Dialogues with musician Jeff Schroeder, former guitarist of the Smashing Pumpkins and visual artist Helen H. Kim, co-researcher of the (re)Location: The Lao/Korean Acculturation Project, as they explore the intersection of creativity, identity, spirituality and mental wellness. Joyce, Jeff, and Helen will present their current work and discuss their creative processes and how they navigate the complexities of their liminal experiences between cultures and identities as well as the ongoing negotiation of presentation and representation in their multifaceted existence. This Artist Dialogues event invites you to explore how art, creativity, and inquiry can serve as a bridge among vital aspects of the human experience.
